David Cohen: Butterflies Boxed Notecard Assortment

Description

Like a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis, the art of David Cohen bursts with color and natural pattern. Each of these unique butterflies is magical in its own way; their wings are distinctive, which makes observing these stunning art pieces a meditation in detail. What makes these images even more extraordinary is the presentation of the caterpillars each of these butterflies develops from, a mosaic of the lifecycle itself. The illustrations also feature each creature’s host plant, vegetation that is vital as a food source, or a place to regenerate. Let the metamorphosis represented here be a metaphor for an ever-expanding consciousness and life, and a catalyst to reach out to friends and family with a beautiful note.
