Description

Rex Ray (American, 1956–2015)
Mylopronesta

Rex Ray’s dynamic Mylopronesta painting pops with vibrant colors and graceful designs aswirl against a black background. Ray was a San Francisco–based fine artist who worked in a wide range of media, including painting, collage, print works, and photography. Abstract and handcrafted, with a retro-futuristic feel, Ray’s work is always identifiable, whether seen on museum or gallery walls, in hip restaurants and boutique hotels—or on home decor products, CD covers, or rock posters.
